Policies

These policies govern cancelling a lesson and making up a cancelled lesson. They apply to every enrolled family, without exception, so the schedule stays fair for everyone.

1. Cancellation

A lesson can be cancelled — without penalty — up to 24 hours before the lesson time. With 23 hours' notice, it's already too late.

If cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, the lesson is forfeited: no refund, no makeup, no exceptions.

2. Makeup credit

A lesson cancelled properly (at least 24 hours' notice) earns a makeup credit — not a refund.

This credit is offered as a courtesy. It is not an obligation of the studio: it's a gesture that acknowledges a setback announced in time.

3. How to use a credit

It is the family's responsibility — not the teacher's — to check the open slots published by the studio and book the credit there themselves.

The teacher does not look for a time on your behalf, does not open his days off (Friday and Saturday), and does not teach outside the posted hours, namely 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Open slots for a makeup can appear during regular teaching hours — for example when a spot opens up from a cancellation — or on a school professional-development day, a weekday afternoon, or a Sunday.

4. Expiration

A credit expires at the end of the session in which it was earned. An unused credit is forfeited — it does not carry over to the next session.

5. Why

Enrollment is a commitment for the whole session, mirroring a school-year calendar: the spot reserved in the schedule is what's being paid for, not each individual lesson attended.

6. Availability

To enroll a student, the studio asks for several real windows of availability spread across the week — not a single narrow slot.

A short window, say 4:00 to 4:30 p.m., is no problem at all if it's added to other windows: the studio understands soccer, homework, and other commitments very well. What's harder to accommodate is offering only that one slot and nothing else.

The more varied the availability offered, the easier it is to find a time that works for every enrolled family — that's what makes it possible to build a schedule that feels good for everyone.

Please offer several available windows at enrollment — it makes confirming the registration much easier.
